“Serving Project Runway Realness: Joseph McRae Screening Was Giving Everything”

“Serving Project Runway Realness: Joseph McRae Screening Was Giving Everything”

Okay, so let me tell you—last night, Thursday 07/31/25 and was that part. I pulled up to a screening for the revamped Project Runway, and baby, the fashion, the vibes, the people? It was everything.

🧡 Joseph McRae Was the Moment

Designer Joseph McRae didn’t just show up—he showed out. He had models posted up in his designs like walking art installations, and his own look? A long orange slay with a belt that said “I came to shut it down.” Cameras were flashing, drinks were flowing (yes, they had cocktails named after him—iconic), and the energy was high-key fabulous.

🕺 The Crowd Was Giving Main Character

I met dancers, stylists from Alvin Ailey, and fashion heads who clearly understood the assignment. Everyone was dressed like they had a runway in their soul. The room was dripping in creativity and cool—that part.

📺 The Show? Revamped and Ready

Then the screening started, and listen—Project Runway is back and it’s got a whole new flavor. Christian Siriano stepped in to replace Tim Gunn, and while Christian is serving fresh and fierce, I’m not gonna lie—Tim Gunn will always be my OG. My heart still beats “Make it work.”

The judges? A whole mood:

  • Nina Garcia (classic)
  • Law Roach (giving quotables and shade with style)
  • Heidi Klum (still that girl)

Law Roach had me hollering—his commentary is sharp, funny, and so on brand.

đź‘‘ Princesses vs. Villains? Plot Twist!

We watched two episodes, and the drama was chef’s kiss. First challenge: Team Princess vs. Team Villain. And guess what? The villains ate. Team Princess tried to keep it cute, but the judges weren’t feeling it.

Caycee Black got sent home first—her dress didn’t hit the mark. It was giving fairy tale, but the judges wanted edge.

Meanwhile, Ethan Mundt came through and snatched the win with a look that had the judges gagged.

🏋️‍♀️ Fashion That Moves

Episode two was all about activewear that slays and stays functional. You had to serve gym chic without looking like you just rolled out of bed. Jesus Estrada understood the assignment and took the win. But House of Burn? Whew. The judges said “no ma’am” and they landed in the bottom.

đź’« Final Word: It Gave

From Joseph McRae’s fashion takeover to the drama on screen, this night was a full-on vibe. If you’re not watching the new Project Runway, you’re missing out. It’s fresh, it’s fierce, and it’s giving everything we love about fashion—with a little extra sparkle.

Catch up, get into it, and stay fabulous.
