Beauty Within at HFR House x CultureCon: Where Black Fashion Felt Like Home

On Monday (09/29/25 )  Soho, NY transformed into a vibrant hub of Black creativity at the HFR House x CultureCon event—and Beauty Within Magazine was front and center. As a fashion lover and storyteller, I felt like I had stepped into a living gallery of style, soul, and innovation. 🎨 I had the honor of interviewing Kaphill, a visionary clothing designer whose denim pieces redefine cool. His work blends structure with softness—each stitch felt like a love letter to Black identity and craftsmanship.

👠 Then came Arch Shoe, whose signature heel literally stopped me in my tracks. The heel is shaped like a heart—yes, a heart—and it’s called “Love Struck.” Romantic, bold, and unforgettable. It’s not just a shoe—it’s a mood. http://archnyc.co

Dana started Pardon My Fro to celebrate Black women and their natural beauty, turning her signature illustrations into wearable art. While the brand doesn’t offer traditional coats, it features statement outerwear like satin kimonos, wraps, and layering pieces that function as stylish alternatives to coats. @harlemsfashionrow,@Pardon My Fro, pardonmyfro, trenchcoats, blaxkfashiondesigner, culturecon, #plussizefashion

👜 And let’s talk accessories: Flore.K NY delivered shoes and bags that felt like treasures. One standout? A seashell-adorned handbag that whispered beach vibes with city edge. Pure magic. http://florekny.com   http://www.harlemsfashionrow.com http://theccnyc.com › culturecon And one of my favorite moments? I gifted one of my Fashion Designer Coloring Books to the fabulous @camrynlyk. Sharing creativity is what Beauty Within is all about—especially with fellow visionaries who inspire. The energy in the room was electric. Seeing so many Black designers owning their space, sharing their stories, and celebrating each other was deeply affirming. It wasn’t just a fashion event—it was a cultural homecoming. And yes, Casa Migos was flowing—in sleek little cans that added a playful twist to the vibe. Soho was the perfect canvas for this moment. Stylish, soulful, and unapologetically us
