Macys Fireworks

The fourth of July Macy’s fireworks are  a one of kind experience. You can see the fireworks on the East River, from 20th Street. all the way up to 40th Street. Have fun with friends while glimpsing the amazing fireworks for a celebration.

 

Northern Territory

If you are looking to take part in the bar scene, go to Northern Territory, a rooftop bar in Brooklyn. It has  an entry fee of $60.00. You will have access to the most prominent view of the Macy’s fireworks. Because this is such an exclusive spot, tickets go on sale at 4pm on July 4th, don’t waste time and plan to be there to have great drinks and an amazing view!

 

The Mermaid Inn

Whether you’re going out on the town or heading home for a casual night in, the Mermaid Inn is a great spot to grab a delicious dinner. For just $32.00 you can explore the delicious clams, mussels, lobster with potatoes, and roasted corn on the cob.

 

Nathan’s Hot dog contest
If you are looking for a fun activity during the day, one thing you can check out is the Nathan’s Hot Dog contest at Coney Island, in Brooklyn. Get there early, there will be 40,000 in attendance. Join in on the contest to beat the record of eating 70 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes and you could win up to 10,000 dollars. If you want to make money, conquer a bucket list item, or just witness all the fanfare, this contest is for you.

 

Explore Central Park

Adventurous and nature-oriented Manhattanites or tourists can rent a city bike almost on any street in Manhattan and explore the city on the 6 mile central park loop where famous Olympic runners run.

Long Beach NY

If you are looking to relax and tan for little cost, take the Long island railroad for 45 minutes to Long Beach, a pristine beach for both the locals and outsiders to swim.
