The 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards’  was held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, this past weekend. Before getting a glimpse of who will win their very own ‘golden popcorn’, fans got an opportunity to see Hollywood’s hottest stars rip the red carpet in their boldest threads.

In the past, stars have strayed away from traditional red carpet attire and this year is no different as the stars definitely pushed the boundaries with their fun and flashy looks.

Breakout star and this year’s host, Tiffany Haddish combined fierceness and elegance with this silver ensemble with a long dramatic train (designed by Galia Lahav). The comedian kept the silver trend going with matching pumps and accessories.

Actress Zendaya is known for slaying the red carpet. The former Disney-star opted for a mahogany colored dress with a very structured umbrella-like skirt. She described her look as an “unwrapped, caramel filled Hershey’s kiss” via Instagram. She paired the August Getty Atelier dress with matching brown pumps by Christian Louboutin.

Reality-star, Kim Kardashian dazzled the red carpet in a white crop-top paired with an Altelier Versace silver skirt with a thigh-high slit and black-strappy heels. The TV personality also switched up her hair-do, with these waist-length tribal braids.

Olivia Munn graced the red carpet in a velvet number by Galvan London. The actress/model wore a lovely low-cut jumpsuit with pop of red tassels on her belt to compliment her red shoes.

Grown-ishstar, Yara Shahidi always shows up with eye-catching fashions. The 18-year-old went for a refreshing pale blue pants suit by Tory Burch and nude pumps. She also accessorises with Tiffany & Co. jewelry and her signature curls
