Snoh Aalegra “Whoa” review

Whoa” is a sappy love song with hints of R&B, soul and orchestral influences, chronicling the intense passion and desire in a romantic relationship. It’s shown in the lyrics, “Don’t wanna leave, I just wanna be here by your side/ You make me feel and believe that we in paradise/ ‘Cause I don’t feel the ground.” One of those albums that starts off alright, but as the album progresses, captures you more and more. Snoh definitely manufactued a very special album here for her debut. One of the most underrated artists of the decade, hands down. 
This LP grabs me every listen. FEELS’ cinematic spin on neo soul gives a vibe that I have not felt fully captured by any other album. On top of the theme, this never drags with varying song structures and I am always surprised when its over, especially when it puts the listener in an otherworldly zone.
