Inspire: A Night with Sony

Adorama and Sony recently hosted Inspire: A Night with Sony on the rooftop of Sony Square in the Flatiron District. The event promoted new technological collaborations between Adorama and Sony as well as the chance to demo the companies’ most recent technological breakthroughs on the Sony Square rooftop garden.
Guests were treated to an evening full of gourmet heure d’oeuvres and professional demonstrations from distinguished photographers. Furthermore, Sony and Adorama put cameras in the hands of each attendee, offering them the opportunity to play professional photographer and sample the latest technology on the market.

The event took place on the rooftop of Sony Square, offering attendees exquisite views overlooking Madison Square Park and the Hudson River.

Each guest had the opportunity to borrow from an assortment of top of the line bases and lenses in addition to being gifted an SD card in order to take their photographs home with them. One lucky guest even won a brand new Sony a7iii in a raffle.

In addition to the chance to capture their own shots of the Manhattan skyline and perform photoshoots with hired onsite models, attendees were also treated to delectable food and expert presentations from cinematographer Igor Kroptov and photographers Chris Burkard and Renan Ozturk, who showed off a few of their own shots and walked guests through the latest advancements in the world of photography.
