Highlights From My Visit to the Coterie Trade Show

Their pieces at Coterie carried the same bold spirit—vibrant prints, dramatic silhouettes, and that signature mix of glamour and edge. Across the floor, I noticed a strong theme of vintage‑meets‑après‑ski, warm Italian‑inspired winterwear, and beautifully made fur coats that felt luxurious and modern.
Accessories were just as exciting. Jianhui London showcased chunky, sculptural jewelry that instantly grabs attention.
Angela Caputi
displayed her iconic resin pieces—bold, colorful, and unmistakably hers. I also loved the handbags from Wildwood Oyster & Co, which had a refined, coastal‑crafted feel.
Footwear had its own moment. Ahdiid offered boots that felt like Timberland meets Bottega Veneta—chunky, fashion‑forward, and built for real wear. offered boots that felt like Timberland meets Bottega Veneta—chunky, fashion‑forward, and built for real wear.

There were also Eskimo-inspired UGG‑style boots called Mou. plus plenty of comfortable, well‑made shoes and boots that prove practicality can still be chic.
Flabelue
stood out with cute, wearable flats, and Belgin Francis showcased beautifully crafted leather pieces that felt timeless.
What I appreciated most was the range of voices represented. I saw FIT student designers, sustainable fashion brands, diverse creators, and familiar names like Joe’s Jeans, Hervé Léger, 7 For All Mankind, and more. Even with the weather challenges, the mix of emerging talent and established labels made the show feel fresh and inspiring.
