Camila’s living in a material world!
Sunday at the iheart awards at The Forum in Los Angeles, Camila brought her Material Girl realness to her sultry performance of her hit song “Havana.”
Wearing a pink satin dress and thigh-high boots, the singer emulated Madonna’s iconic “Material Girl” music video from 1984 for her live performance at the award show, hosted by Hailey Baldwin and DJ Khaled.
The dress featured a huge bow at the back, and Camila, 21, accessorized with matching long gloves, pink retro sunglasses and an elaborate choker.
The outfit was identical to the one worn by Madonna, 59, in the music video for her 1985 hit single, Material Girl, which in turn was a tribute to Marilyn Monroe who first wore the dress in the 1953 movie Gentleman Prefer Blondes.
Bringing the look up to the present day, Camila added thigh high pink satin boots as she strutted her stuff while singing her hit single, Havana.
Just as Madonna did in her video, Camila performed with an array of hunky men dressed in tuxedos and hats, and at one point lay across their arms as they carried her down the stairs.
