Best Looks of Dandyism at MET Gala of Dandyism
The 2025 Met Gala took place on Monday night, with celebrities gracing the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in stunning ensembles. This year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” was in line with the Costume Institute’s exhibit, focusing on the Black dandy and the role of fashion in shaping Black identities across the Atlantic diaspora.
The dress code, “Tailored for You,” paid homage to the exhibit’s emphasis on menswear. Early arrivals on the red carpet included the event’s co-chairs, Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, and Anna Wintour, all of whom donned dandy-inspired outfits. Other stars, such as Zendaya and Diana Ross, also embraced the theme with their unique interpretations.
